Since the smartphone revolution began, these devices started to be used in a wide variety of activities and for some very specific tasks as well. This was made possible by the development of an incredible high number of specialized apps, designed by official and independent programmers and companies. Of course that one of the most successful group of apps is the one that actually is used for something lucrative: business. This is understandable since smartphones in general have evolved to become great tools for working.
As I’ve stated in previous posts, Android is becoming more and more accepted among smartphone users, thanks to its fabulous features and amazing performance. But what would be the situation for one of the most popular mobile operating systems if it weren’t for all the hard work app developers have being doing? That’s why (and in some sort of tribute to those anonymous software soldiers) I hereby present you this humble list of android best apps.
1 – Documents to Go
The best app for viewing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. The free edition of Documents to Go allows you to view already created content in one of those formats. If you purchase a key, you’ll be unlocking extra features, such as the possibility to create and edit documents and password-protect them.
2 – Tasker
The greatest app for Android-powered smartphone, automating your Tasker gives you the opportunity to define a set of rules with which a certain event or app is triggered. Launch or close a specific app at a pre-defined time of day, when your phone is orientated in some particular way or when another app is running. Tasker automates your phone any way you want.
3 – Bump
Exchange information with another smartphone powered by Google’s top mobile operating system effortlessly and easily. Simply run Bump on both devices and knock them together gently. Confirm the transfer and voila, all your contact data has been shared with the other phone.
4 – Maps
With Maps you’ll never get lost again. Based on the popular Google service, Maps provides you information on streets, roads, places of interest, traffic and even it includes Street View! Additionally, you’ll have a voice-guided GPS navigation system to make sure you get where you want to go.

Keep track of your expenses with this great Android app. Categorize them, define a spending limit and learn the way your money leaves your wallet, thanks to YKYM’s highly precise graphs. A must-have app for all businessmen.
7 – Fake a Call
If you want to leave an uncomfortable situation (a boring meeting, a tedious talk) you need this app to help you. As its names explains, Fake a Call lets you establish some specific time of day when the app will simulate an incoming call, giving you the opportunity to get away from that awkward situation!
8 – Google Voice
Use your Internet connection to get in touch with your contacts. Google Voice is the perfect VoIP app with which you can make calls, dispose of voicemail transcriptions and receive text notifications.
9 – Dropbox
This is an amazing app for syncing the files available on all of your devices, whether they’re mobile or not. You can share links to your documents with your co-workers, save files you’ve just received and you can even open the materials you uploaded earlier using any Android app. All your works are available on your personal Dropbox folder, so rest assured you’ll get access to them anytime, anywhere.
