Watching online movies is no longer a novelty. The phenomenon of online movies is increasingly popular among Internet users, which is why brands like Netflix and sites “not so legal” as Cuevana don’t stop breaking records regarding the number of movies that are played per day.

Online movies and videos is a market that earns more fans every day and (hopefully) more tools to improve our user experience.

We’ve said it too many times already: HTML5 is what’s next for the Internet and we are going to get accustomed to that. It’s not that it is a bad thing but as this new version of the Web language is starting to get popular, we’ll see more and more web contents based on it, which will lead us to use the best browsers. We still are, however, in the early stages of development, but several programmers want to show us what they’ve been up to regarding HTML5. That’s what Mozilla Firefox Browser did with its Game On competition, a contest that wanted to compile the best HTML5-based games online free. The winners were already announced but here’s my personal favorites games online among the ones that made it to the finals.

We’ve already discussed the future of the Internet and the imminent implementation of the new markup language, the HTML5. Although we’re some years away from its full development, many people are already working on some Internet-based apps with full HTML5 support. And among the many uses developers are giving to the new edition of the language, they are using it for games. Although they can’t quite compare to the other online games around (think of Flash games) there’re exceptions to this situation. And one of the most notorious ones is Pirates Love Daisies, an addictive tower-defense kind of game.
