Although we cannot deny that we are happy to get any piece of information about GTA 5 during last months, yet still remains the expectation of its official release date.
There was some gossip that Rockstar would release Grand Theft Auto V during the middle months of 2013 or even the first third of 2014.
Among the many twists and turns, different analysts and experts talk about a possible release of the new Grand Theft Auto V later this year, and more specifically during the month of March 2013, setting April as the deadline for GTA 5 to see the light. And the latest evidence seemed to confirm it. The waiting, still, it seemed too long for many of us, but at least we knew that within half a year the new GTA 5 would be in our stores.
For now, it seems we have to wait longer than expected because, regarding the release date for GTA 5, analyst Mike Hickey of Janco Partners firm, has shared his own diagnosis, which will not be liked by fans (I don’t like, BTW).
In this post the portal Gamasutra deals with the analysis of Hickey about future plans for Take-Two (owner, among others, Rockstar). BioShock: Infinite, will suffer a further delay (originally scheduled for February 26), since the amplitude of the game seems to prevent its creators to meet the agreed date. This delay will result in an immediate postponement of our beloved GTA 5: “We suspect that both GTA V as Bioshock Infinite could actually delayed the period of fiscal 2014.”
Is it true what it says Mike Hickey? Or is it a strategy for Rockstar to keep the public expectation?
