Are you tired of the same old boring photos with which you decorate your Facebook profile? Do you wish there was a more attractive way to show yourself in the top social network? If your are answers are affirmative, then I have an alternative for you. Meet FlipYourProfile. This combination between app and browser plug-in will give the possibility to upload a video of yourself to your Facebook profile with which you can surprise your online contacts.
How does it work? You’ll simply have to enter the official page, select the correct add-on for your favorite best browser (you can choose the plug-in for Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari) and install it. After that, you’ll have to synchronize the app with your profile and start thinking about your profile video.
How do you upload the video? You have to shoot it with your Flip Video camera and send it via e-mail to me@flipyourprofile.com. If this doesn’t work for you, then you can use the Profile Maker, with which you can make your own video using your webcam or you can upload one with a size of up to 10MB. If you choose this latter option, you should know that the supported formats are FLV, MP4 and H.264.
Before starting using this amazing app/add-on, you should know two things: first, you’ll have to convince your friends to start using it as well (if you want them to view your profile video, that is); secondly, you’ll have to put up with an automatic ad that keeps posting to your Wall. Keep in mind that if any person visits your profile without having the plug-in installed, they’ll see your regular profile photo.
