Like every year, Apple products are the most expected by technology fans, either because of their fancy designs, extraordinary performance or simply because their persuasive marketing campaigns make us want to have an iPad so bad.

Amazon captured users’ desires and developed the Kindle Fire which promises to cripple not only iPad3 launch but also iPhone 5 release due on October, the 4th.

As television networks and movie studios continue to kick and cry over piracy issues, other companies focus on what really matters: stop living in the past and adapt to these post-modern and digital times. Take Amazon, for example. The Seattle-based company has recently announced a new service for its Prime Members that will allow them to stream more than 5,000 commercial-free movies and TV shows (watch movies online) at no additional cost.

Today, many of us had a big scare when we tried to access the Grooveshark site: it was closed for repairs! Although this seemed like it was going under maintenance, some of us feared that it could actually go for good. Fortunately, one of the greatest places for listening to music online was up a few hours later and we were grateful and excited to see that the time offline had an excellent reason: Grooveshark has had a major revamp on its interface and now it looks more elegant and appealing than ever.

Much speculation has been generated around how much Facebook is worth. Since the Palo Alto-based company isn’t public yet, many of the figures associated with the value of the social network are a result of expectations and calculations rather than actual numbers. Unsurprisingly, numerous entities and private companies issue reports every once in a while with assumptions about Facebook’s value.

So, to no one’s surprise, Bloomberg released a report yesterday which provides an overview of the current state of the U.S. Internet market.
