Porting console games over from a PS3 or an Xbox 360 to a mobile device is as hard as you can imagine. There are some sacrifices to be made if the titles are going to meet the limited potency of the portable console and sometimes trimming certain aspects down has a very profound negative impact on the final product. So, when I first faced Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition I was bursting with doubts, which were cleared once I started playing the game.

The old discussion between casual and hardcore games was revisited once again last Sunday, when Angry Birds’ “Mighty Eagle” Peter Vesterbacka spoke at the Game Developer’s Conference, held in the South by Southwest Interactive event.
