Once again, as every year, America celebrates the “Black Friday” with discounts up to 50% in order to promote sales for Christmas Eve.

This year, Apple decided to exceed boundaries and offer rebates on the Apple store worldwide, at least for online purchases (in USA discounts will be available online and on retail stores).

Although we expected Tim Cook to announce iPhone 5 release in Mac event, we cannot complain about iPhone 4S performance. This is a wonderful Smartphone dazzled millions of users around the world with its impressive features, such as: Dual-core A5 chip, which makes it twice as powerful as the iPhone 4 (previous version), full phone management through Siri’s voice control and (of course) its 8MP camera with new optics and video recording in 1080i (Full HD)

Through a press release, Apple announced that new iPhone 4S will be released in 15 additional countries from November 1st. The list of these new “lucky countries” are: Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea.

Remember that this “temporary substitute” for the iPhone 5 was launched last October 14, initially in seven countries, which was followed by 22 more countries on October 28th. The first of these releases was a hit that set a new record worldwide, by overmatching the 4 million iPhones 4s sold in just 3 days.

It seems that the soul of the legendary Steve Jobs is still reaping success to his “beloved Apple” since on Monday October 17th Apple announced there were sold more than 4 million units of iPhone 4S in just three days. Importantly, this new iPhone was only released to the public on 14 October and only in seven countries. Additional to this, the new operating system iOS 5 (native OS for the iPhone 4S) is already used by 25 million users of iPod, iPhone and iPad worldwide.

After many rumors regarding the possible iPhone 5 release  in the Mac event of the past October 4, 2011, Tim Cook (replacing the always brilliant and remembered Steve Jobs) presented to the world the iPhone 4S. That’s right, this is NOT the iPhone 5 we all have been waiting. Disappointing, isn’t it?
