Like every year, Apple products are the most expected by technology fans, either because of their fancy designs, extraordinary performance or simply because their persuasive marketing campaigns make us want to have an iPad so bad.

Amazon captured users’ desires and developed the Kindle Fire which promises to cripple not only iPad3 launch but also iPhone 5 release due on October, the 4th.

This year has seen the release of several gadgets and devices to fit all purposes: tablets, smartphones, accessories for videogames, etc. This is the result of the higher speed in which the technology is advancing today so the users are demanded to keep up and assimilate all these innovations at a faster pace. This can be the reason for the newer devices to be selling faster than ever since it appears that buying upon the release of a new product seems the only way to keep up. Don’t believe? Two of the fastest selling gadgets of all times were released this year: Kinect and the iPad. And here’s a brief comparison between the two of them to comprehend how much they have earned for their respective manufacturer companies.

Last week, people over at Research In Motion (better known as RIM, the company behind the Blackberry’s development) posted a video comparison between their yet-to-be-released BlackBerry Playbook tablet and Apple’s iPad (the main competitor and the model against which all tablets are measured). The purpose of this face to face confrontation is to show the users and potential buyers the web capabilities of RIM’s tablet and to establish which one is the best tablet PC.
