There’s nothing like being on the road, driving a powerful car and stepping the gas to reach incredible speeds. It’s great to feel the adrenalin and the rush from making an impossible turn and very few things can top the heart-pumping action from a car race. Fortunately, we don’t have to face dangerous paths to make any of those things: we have our PC games! And we have a huge game offer at our disposal with which with can quench our thirst for gasoline. But, where do we begin? There are obvious places to start (Gran Turismo 5 and F1 2010, top games 2010) and there are other not-so-popular titles available to fit our speed needs. I’ll focus on three games that haven’t the popularity they deserve but they’re surely great fun for all the car games’ lovers.

2011 has been a year full of worldwide events that set a before and after in the technological universe. Meanwhile, despite the economic and social crisis around the world, the game industry continued working hard to bring us amazing game titles that will be surely remembered as masterpieces of the history of videogames.

Let’s take look at the 10 best selling games of 2011.

Need For Speed: The Run was released in U.S.  this November 15th and will arrive on Friday 18 to Europe and other countries of the world. Despite the large investment Electronic Arts made on this new Need For Speed, critics have not been kind to “The Run”.

So far, the game notes are around 74 in Metacritic, with an average of 6.5 out of 10. The main reason for this low score is given for short duration of the game, as those who have tested as “Need For Speed: The Run” can be completed in just 2 hours!

If you are over 20 years you will surely smile every time you remember all those afternoons and weekends from your childhood, when you invest much of your time (and money) playing arcade games. Among those beautiful memories some games were definitely “saved” with them: “Mortal Kombat“, “Street Fighter“, “Captain Commando”, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and, of course, “The Simpsons“. I still remember how many quarters I spent per day trying to rescue Maggie from Burns & Smithers…

Fortunately there are many people that made a major effort to bring The Simpsons arcade game in digital format. They put end to our melancholy.

Rockstar games will share the official GTA V debut trailer on 11/2/11 at 9:00 a.m. PDT (12pm EDT).This game surely will be another best selling (and the most pirated) game of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
