Last year, thanks to the phenomenon of Facebook, Twitter and Google+, Internet has grown in an exponential way. These sites not only got millions of members to their communities, but also they became an addiction for many users.

2012 seems to keep this trend and that’s why we have prepared a list of innovative sites that promise to become more popular (and also a trend, why not?) this New Year.

Flavors

Flavors is a new way of socializing with the world from a community that combines in a single place everything you do on other social networks. Like all new products, this also seems to be nothing “necessary” for our lives but the same was said about Facebook a few years ago, right?

 

Storify

Storify allows you to create or write news stories based on the information contained in social networks, which is A LOT. How does it works? Simply: it collects information from different users accounts who have spoken of the topic you need/want to investigate. Then you select the information you need and combine it into one story. Finally you can share it with all your contacts.

 

Nobuna

We talked about this site in previous post. This is a website that allows you to develop your ability to understand the English language through a series of videos, which you must pay attention and understand the key words in each sentence. We love it! Why? It’s fun, simple, useful, and FREE!

 

Skitch

Recently acquired by Evernote, this is an application that lets you make your photos funnier in a few seconds without having to download anything or have any graphic design knowledge. Annotate, edit and share your screenshots and images easily. Skitch is a “different” product to keep in mind.

 

Cuevana

The wonderful CUEVANA! It remains as one of the best websites of the year, despite being world-wide famous in 2011. Improved web design, new free movies and improvements at the technical level are the reasons why Cuevana remains as one of the trending sites of 2012.
